According to the principle of single slit diffraction, a device for measuring magnetostrictioncoeficient was devised by processing the diffraction images collected by high-definition camera using Digitamage Processing method.Then the device was used to accurately measure magnetostriction coefficient ofTbDyFe alloy in a weak magnetic field.The device has the characteristics of simple measurement method,highaccuracy and quick measurement.
