Abstract The research-oriented open experiment teaching is the one which carried out under the guidance of scientific research project． The open experiment teaching led by front topics was discussed with taking the photovoltaic effect of ferroelectric materials as an example．The main purpose of this experiment is to study the preparation of ferroelectric photovoltaic devices and photovoltaic property．Through the combination of scientific research and experiment teaching，the knowledge scopes of students have been widened and improve their scientific research qualities have been improved．
