Abstract This experiment uses atmospheric pressure discharge to produce plasma，and uses the axial divergent magnetic field generated by the combination of permanent magnets to restrict the plasma，which intuitively shows the experimental phenomenon of magnetic field restraining the plasma． The experimental method is simple and convenient，which plays an important role in improving the basic plasma knowledge and innovative experimental ability of college students．
