The present situation of the university physics experiment and some disadvantages existing in the teaching of this course have been analyzed based on the teaching characteristics of this course．The importance of the teaching reform on the university physics experiment is emphasized according to demands of golden course construction． A number of reform suggestions in the experiment content，teaching procedure，and evaluation method on this course are put forward．
