College physics experiment(CPE)teaching is an important teaching method to consolidate the basic knowledge of college physics and cultivate experimental methods and innovative skills． It discusses how to introduce the resonance phenomenon in whispering gallery mode microspheres，a popular research topic，into CPE teaching． Utilizing the measurement experiment of the resonance mode in whispering gallery mode microspheres to carry out a complete and novel experimental teaching design and experimental process，which could enrich the CPE teaching content．At the same time，it aims to improve students’ability of analyzing problems，practicing and creative thinking．
