Abstract
The principle of ultrasonic standing wave in acousto-optic crystal is introduced. Besides, the method based on acousto-optic diffraction is compared with the method of shadowgraph in measuring ultrasound velocity, the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods are analyzed, which is helpful to understand the propagation of ultrasonic standing wave in acousto-optic medium more intuitively.
