Abstract:

In recent years, pyroelectric testing technology has been widely used to test unconventional ferroelectric bodies at low temperatures, especially the ferroelectric polarization of the second type of multi-iron materials, but most of them are used by researchers for professional research.

At present, the quality-oriented education of college students is in full gear. This technology can enable students who participate in the scientific research training program to do some simple subject research, train and develop some basic scientific research thinking, habits and skills.

This paper introduces the basic principle, experimental instrument and experimental method of pyroelectric technique for measuring ferroelectric polarization, and illustrates some experimental techniques and precautions.

Key words:  pyroelectric unconventional ferroelectrics    class II multiferroic materials    spontaneous polarized thermal activation
