Abstract
The influence of angular amplitude in the experiment of measuring acceleration of gravity by simple pendulum is studied. The results show that arbitrary choice of angular amplitude may increase the uncertainty of experimental results and result in artificial systematic deviation. In experiments, the same angular amplitude should be chosen under different pendulum lengths.
