Abstract As the important pillar serving regional economic transformation and upgrading, the application-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities, whose orientation of talent cultivation must be based on the development needs of local economy, are supposed to combine with the advantages of the universities' own development, to train advanced application-oriented talents with innovative spirit, entrepreneurial ability, professional ethics and practical skills. Therefore, through the investigation and analysis of local economic policies, actively connecting with the local innovation chain and talent chain, exploring the integration and development path of innovation and entrepreneurship education and talent cultivation in applied undergraduate universities is an important means to achieve the goal and connotation development of school talents' cultivation and improve the quality of talent cultivation.
