Abstract Teaching development strategies are the guidelines and incentives on the basis of the characteristics, elements and the development of teachers practice and application characteristics in Local Engineering Colleges, mainly for the realization of inner development, autonomy development, which is the fundamental guarantee to promote the development of teaching. This article discusses several aspects about the researching purpose and significance of teaching strategies in local engineering colleges, analyzing the inherent substances, reconstruction and implementation of teaching development strategies and application analysis, we should pay attention to the problem of reflection and reconstruction, it lays the foundation for continuous improving teaching strategies.
