Abstract Focus on environmental pollution problem of the sandy beach， a garbage collector with garbage
classification ability was designed by the software of Solidworks． The main structure of the garbage collector
include stander， sand shovel mechanism， sand screening mechanism， chain gear transmission mechanism and
collection device．The garbage on the sand beach can be collected，screened and classified by garbage collector．
Base on the above research，a prototype of the garbage collector was produced．
